WELCOME TO MICHAEL GERMERSHAUSEN

It was Nepal time again. 2 years after our honeymoon trip to the top of the world where we made it to Ama Dablam base camp I decided to make up the missing meters to Everest Base Camp at 5400m above sea level. The trip was organised by Adventure Train like last time and some of our old crew members were joining again. All in all the trip took two working weeks including the weekends before and after i.e. 17 days. The journey to Delhi from Moscow on Aeroflot takes about 6 hours. From Delhi to Kathmandu on Jet Airways was a 1.5 hour trip which however turned into a 5 hour trip as the Kathmandu valley was covered in thick morning fog which meant we had to stop over in north India. From Kathmandu there a little 15 seater took us to Lukla where the trekking started with catching up the group who had started half a day earlier. My pictures are below and there is also a link to an up to date Everest Webcam.
